We are delighted to have two WW1 Tommies standing on guard in our school reception area.
Thank you to Potton Town Council for letting us have these over the remembrance period.
Potton Consolidated Charity has funded these six-foot high figures, which are a life-size silhouette of a First World War Solider.
The Tommy is a symbol of remembrance created by the charity Remembered, as part of their project ‘There But Not There’. The aim of the project are to Commemorate, Educate and Heal.
