Year 6 Natural History Museum Tring,
As part of our ‘Darwin’s Delights’ Cornerstones curriculum topic next half term, we have the exciting opportunity to visit the Natural History Museum at Tring, in Hertfordshire. The children in Year 6 willparticipate in a self-guided tour by the Year 6 teachers to deepen their understanding of this excitingtopic, as well taking part in a 45 minute workshop, in groups, on adaptation.
We will be travelling to the museum by coach on Thursday 19th March at 9:00am and returning by 3:20pm. Children will be dismissed at the usual time of 3:20pm. Please provide a packed lunch and a suitable coat in case of wet weather.
Please submit this form to give consent that your child can partake in this experience.
To cover the cost of the coaches, there will be a voluntary contribution of £11.00. Please make this payment via www.scopay.com. Cash and cheque payments will not be accepted.
In order for this trip to take place, we would really appreciate the support of some parent helpers to accompany us during the day. Therefore, if you would be interested in joining Year 6 for our trip on the 19th March, please let Miss Carrington know as soon as possible via Class Dojo.
