This year for Sport Relief the Voice and Values committee would like to raise money by undertaking a very exciting challenge as a school. Along with the organisation “Mind Fit” we would love to attempt to (as a school) virtually run to Big Ben in London and back to Potton Lower School during the course of the afternoon (100 miles in total).
We would also like to invite everybody to come dressed in sports clothes for the small donation of £1.00, this could be the kit of a club that children participate in (including football teams for which they actually play). As per the usual school rules on non-uniform days football shirts aren’t allowed.
In addition to this we are also selling Sports Relief wristbands which are available from the school office in exchange for £1.00
We hope you will join us in supporting this worthwhile charity and look forward to sharing if we were successful or not in our mission!

PMS will be having a non-school uniform day on Friday 13th March for Sport Relief. Students must make a minimum £1 donation to then be allowed to come into school wearing PE/sports clothing. We’d like to encourage everyone to wear kit from any sport they play or follow or perhaps even come in dressed as a famous sports person. Miss Crawford-Smith will be coming in wearing her netball kit but as per the usual school rules on non-uniform days football shirts aren’t allowed.
Sport Relief wrist bands will also be on sale for students to purchase and further activities taking place during lunchtimes starting from Monday 16th March to ensure nothing clashes with any Science Week activities.
